Overview
An easy-to-apply, durable woodstain for the protection of sheds & fences. Rainproof in 30 minutes which means you don't have to wait for a dry day to protect your exterior timber. The non-drip, the wax en-riched formulation will protect rough-sawn timber for up to 5 years.

Preparation
Always ensure the surface to be painted is clean, dry, and free from any contaminates which may affect adhesion.
- Treat any mould, lichen or algae with a , scrub with a stiff bristle brush (non-metallic) and rinse with clean water.
- Remove any decayed timber and replace it with new.
- Use a scrapper to remove any resinous deposits and wipe with methylated spirits.
- Only use non-ferrous screws, nails, and fixings.
- Any non-preservative treated softwood timber should be treated with an appropriate wood preserver such as (do not apply water-repellent preservative treatments).
- Completley remove any high build coatings by using a suitable or by sanding.
Application
It is recommended to perform a test patch on a small area of the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results. Do not apply if there is a risk of rain, or when temperatures are below 8°C or above 25°C.
- For best results use a good quality, synthetic fibre bristle brush.
- Apply liberally ensuring full saturation of the timber.
- Apply 2-3 coats allowing 4-6 hours between coats.
- Avoid overspreading as this will reduce the long-term durability and performance of the coating system.
