Overview
Zinsser AllWeather Exterior Masonry Paint is a flat matt breathable finish ideal for use on both bare and previously painted exterior concrete, render, stone and brickwork. It offers excellent resistance against cracking, peeling, and flaking and protects against rain and severe weather conditions. It's a self-priming paint that will adhere to existing paints and give you long-lasting protection and excellent colour retention. This product contains a biocide to protect the dried film from fungal & algal degradation.

Preparation
Always ensure the surface to be treated is clean, dry, sound, and free from any dust or possible contaminates that may interfere with adhesion.
- Remove all loose or peeling paint and chalky residue, and sand the edges of any remaining paint to ensure a smooth surface
- New concrete, masonry and other related surfaces must be cured for at least 30 days before priming
- Remove all existing mould or mildew this can be done with a suitable
- Fill any holes or gauges
- For bare or porous surfaces apply a mist coat of the AllWeather Masonry paint, thinned with white spirit
Note: Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960 paint surfaces as they may contain harmful lead.
Application
Before applying we always recommend to test a small area of the surface to be treated to ensure you are happy with the finished results.
- Shake or stir well before application
- Apply using a synthetic bristle brush, roller or sprayer (for airless spraying, use a .017” tip and high-medium 2000-2500 PSI pressure)
- Ensure temperature is between -5° - 32°C
- Avoid working in direct sunlight, do not apply if wet weather is forecast
- Apply the first coat and allow to dry for 3 hours
- Apply a second coat, paint will fully cure in 7 days
